Film festival: build a screening itinerary
Build a workable day from films, venues and admission conditions. A list of titles is not yet a programme you can attend.
Practical guides
Film and screening are separate choices
Record date, local time, cinema, language, subtitles, duration and possible discussion for each screening. Another showing of the same film may suit different needs. Choose versions accessible to your whole group before buying.
Book without overlap
Add exit time, transfer and required early arrival to the film. Screenings without a paper overlap can still conflict in practice. If a talk’s duration is missing, leave that slot open rather than promising the next session.
Pass, reservation and waiting
Check pass rights and separately reserved screenings. Separate confirmed tickets from waiting queues; a plan relying on released seats needs an alternative. TIFF, SGIFF, IDFA and Sundance dossiers show this method for different organisations.
