Practical guides
Read an event calendar and plan a trip
An event window, a session and a starting time are different pieces of information. Keep them separate when booking.
Identify the exact period
Monthly pages group events by their start month. An event starting in September may continue into October. Separate date windows indicate separate periods; an overall range does not imply daily opening. Read the listing dates and then the official programme.
Plan around a session
Choose the day or session you want first. Check the exact venue, entrance, local time and transport after the finish. A city recorded as a venue is not a street address. Allow time between arrival, leaving luggage and entry checks.
Use the calendar download
A listing’s calendar file creates an all-day reminder without inventing a time. It is not a booking and does not update automatically. Return to the source before travelling. Current and upcoming labels are calculated from the recorded dates.
Questions before booking
Does one ticket cover the whole period?
Not necessarily. Check the session, day, area and any additional reservations with the official ticket office.
How can I check accessibility?
Ask the organiser about step-free routes, accessible seating, companion arrangements and the return journey before buying.
