Art and design: build a visiting route
Design weeks and fairs may span multiple venues and access rules. Plan a realistic route rather than an exhaustive list.
Distinguish formats
Separate the main fair, partner exhibitions, galleries and talks. Trade days, opening events and public sessions may have different access. Check each address and reservation even when venues share a programme.
Group by neighbourhood
Map visits and group nearby venues. Allow for queues, journeys and breaks. Start with fixed-time bookings, then add more flexible visits.
Make a selection
Choose themes, artists or exhibitors from the published programme. Check photography rules and tour languages. Free admission does not establish unrestricted entry or the absence of a booking requirement.
Questions before booking
Does one pass cover partner events?
Check each venue: programme partnership and shared admission are different facts.
Can everything be visited in one day?
Compare hours, distances and intended visit lengths. Extensive programmes usually require a selection.
