NYCC: build a day around your priorities
The convention runs from 8 to 11 October 2026 at the Javits Center. Our advice: choose one priority appointment per half-day and leave time for the floor. A long favourites list is only the starting point for a workable itinerary.
Availability: secure admission before travelling
At our 9 October check, the official site says tickets are sold out. For a last-minute visit, check options offered by the organiser before committing to travel. This page does not sell admission or establish that a reseller has tickets available.
Admission, badge activation and reservations
Badge activation is mandatory for this edition. Reservations for certain experiences are a separate step connected to the visitor account. Check each person’s admission and reservations before arriving. When travelling with friends, one person’s confirmation is not evidence that the whole group has access.
Leave a margin before panels
Official instructions call for arrival at least 35 minutes before reserved Main Stage and Empire Stage panels. Block that time in your itinerary: a floor visit immediately beforehand must end earlier than the panel’s advertised start. Allow additional time to move through the building and choose a fallback activity if you miss your appointment.
Distinguish floor hours from panel hours
The show floor, Artist Alley and panels have different opening hours. Do not plan the end of your day solely around the exhibition floor closing time. Check your chosen activity in the programme and plan the return trip from your final appointment. For a half-day visit, focus on one area or purpose rather than attempting every type of activity.
